These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ark Player Android application, package name com.ark.player, and the Ark Player website. By downloading, installing, or using Ark Player, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Ark Player. If you are below the age of legal consent where you live, use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Licence to use Ark Player
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use Ark Player for lawful personal use, subject to these Terms. The app is licensed, not sold, and no ownership rights are transferred to you.
3. Your music and content
Ark Player plays audio and displays information from files and services available to you. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to store, play, edit, cast, or share any music, artwork, lyrics, playlists, or other content you use with the app. Ark Player does not provide or sell music.
4. Device access and permissions
Some features require Android permissions, including access to audio files, notifications, nearby devices, Bluetooth, local networks, and background playback. You can deny optional permissions, but doing so may limit related features. Our Privacy Policy explains how information and permissions are used.
5. Online and third-party services
Optional features may use third-party services such as Google Play services, Firebase, LRCLIB, AMLLDB, Deezer, and compatible Cast receivers. Their availability, content, and data practices are controlled by their providers and may change. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Ark Player to break the law, infringe intellectual-property rights, bypass access controls, distribute malicious software, interfere with the app or its services, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly allows it, or misrepresent your relationship with Ark Player.
7. Updates and availability
We may improve, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue features at any time. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued operation. We do not guarantee that every feature will work on every Android device, audio file, network, or third-party receiver.
8. Intellectual property
Ark Player, its visual design, code, branding, and original website content are owned by or licensed to Ark Player and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not permit you to copy, resell, redistribute, or create misleading versions of Ark Player.
9. No warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ark Player is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free playback, permanent availability of online lyrics or artwork, or compatibility with every file and device. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ark Player and its developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, content, profits, or access arising from your use of the app. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important music files, playlists, and device data.
11. Suspension or termination
You may stop using Ark Player at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict access to online features where reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, providers, or legal rights, or where these Terms are materially violated.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this website with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
13. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws and mandatory consumer protections. Any dispute should first be raised with us so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing here removes rights or remedies you have under the laws that apply to you.
